We are a small breeding barn focused on quality and not quantity. Owned by Lynn & Rudy Puana, we are working to utlize the abundance of resources on our land and knowledge of bloodlines best suited for amateur riders looking for horses in the dressage, hunter/jumper and event disciplines. The ultimate goal for our foals is not which discipline they perform but rather they are a great horse-rider match with whomever purchases them.
Lynn began riding at the age of 11 in the Midwest and competed in combined training, dressage, hunter/jumper and equitation. Upon beginning her career in medicine and starting a family she found breeding best stuited her lifestyle and passion for creating the ultimate sporthorse.
For the past 8 years Lynn has been been breeding in Texas and 2 years ago moved to the Big Island where we will continue the tradition of breeding amazing European bloodlines with an Aloha Spirit! We are selecting only the best of the best broodmares to make the trip to Hawaii and will slowly be expanding our herd when we find the right mares for us to bring across the Pacific.
The farm is located about 18 miles North of Hilo on the Hanakua Coast.
